Syrinx Technology is an Australian based organisation specialising in the research and development of medical simulators, predominantly for the field of anaesthesia.

Syrinx Technology's R&D team consists of a group of highly experienced professionals with academic qualifications and a combined 50 years of experience in: Specialist Anaesthesia, Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering ,Psychiatry and Software Analysis and Design.
Syrinx has been developing simulators since the early 1990's, often producing world wide 'technological firsts' in their field. Syrinx's simulators are actively used in Australian based hospitals and simulation centres for the essential training/retraining of medical students and Doctors.
Syrinx definition is - panpipe. 2 New Latin, from Greek: the vocal organ of birds that is a special modification of the lower part of the trachea or of the bronchi or of both. A syrinx is a fluid-filled cavity within the spinal cord (syringomyelia) or brain stem (syringobulbia). Predisposing factors include craniocervical junction abnormalities, previous spinal cord trauma, and spinal cord tumors.
