With new “Renesas Synergy™-Trained” independent design house (IDH) partners and new Certified Training Centers (CTCs), Renesas customers have expanded access to design resources and product training. Most cards will work with DSL. The easiest are cards based on the 'Prism 2' and 'Orinoco' chipsets. All but the most exotic cards can be made to work. For info on whether or not your card works in DSL using ndiswrapper, see List of cards that work with ndiswrapper. Remember, DSL runs on a 2.4.26 / 2.4.31 kernel, so, in theory, any card that.

By far the most common question that comes with people who are new to DSL is, 'Will my wireless card work?' The short answer is yes. The long answer is, it may take a little work, but you will be pleased with the results.
Cards listed on this page may be currently discontinued and may not be available from many stores. Remember that this is just a partial list. There are many cards in addition to the ones listed that will work with DSL.

These cards won't work out of the box, but most of them work with ndiswrapper, drivers from the manufacturer's site, or with a little work. Look also here

- Edimax EW-7608Pg (Linux drivers don't compile, see wiki page)
- Sitecom wl-535 v1 002/ wl-168 ID 0547:0151 chipset rtl8187 (autoinstalled on debian etch/lenny, ubuntu)
